Default Evaluate my suspension / tire setup

I have a buddyclub racing spec suspension w/upper pillow mount; but the bc springs were replaced with custom swift springs: 16k front, 14k rear.

The wheels are 18

Wow..those are some pretty high spring rates. What are the spring rates of the org. BC springs?

It is counter intuitive, but the rule is that the end with the softer springs stick better. The purpose of stiffer springs is to reduce body roll.

So your current set up should actually understeer with both a narrow front tire and stiffer springs.

Put the 10k BC springs back on. You should increase your road holding grip over the stiffer springs you have now. I am also running these coilovers. I am thinking your spring rate choice is overkill for your tire package. Your running spring rates that would warrent track r compounds to capitalize on the springs properly. Also with any damping dial in at all with these coilovers you have to be getting allot of wheel skip which works against you for grip, since when your wheels are in the air.

The BC race spec's are valved very stout but with plenty of range in adjustment, If I were you I would go back to the factory BC 10k springs and dial in a little more damping. You will outperform your current. I'm confident in this.
