We have decent st2 turn out, seems like at least 5 guys a race.
Just went through t1 rules, seems like a pia. Based off rules I'd need to change a ton of body parts, change pully, throttle body, also says Paxton 1500 with ct kit is permitted, not sure if that's a bigger or smaller sc then 1250.i think it's bigger, if so why wouldn't they do a ratio of x supercharger to y pully. Like 1250 Supercharger max pully size 3.5 or 1500 max pully 4.5...
Also on body panels wtf is up w no CF hardtops! I guess i should get a standard ht anyhow as I'm loosing .3pts from NASA, but still.
Ok last think... Seems like ASM wide body panels are acceptIble, why wouldn't all wide body panels be then?
Seems like the exception list is VERY specific, so much so that people must have made a case for these specifics and got the rules in there.
After watching the transam races today, and seeing guys from american iron and t1, I'd love to make my car dual purpose NASA/scca. Have a lot of friends who run in majors....

Have you seen anywhere that we for sure have to take the .3 points for "Modified Roof Line"? I was reading the rules last night and at least for TT3 it seems like a hardtop should fall under the .3 points for non OEM aero, so it seems like taking that penalty twice. I was thinking about talking to Greg about it for a rules clarification in TT3.

the kraftwerks kit used to be legal when I raced a few years ago, then I ask to turbo charge and it took me a couple of years back and forth with scca to allow the turbo set-up shown. so I don't know if the kraftwerks kit is legal now or not in T1?

That one is debating having to take points in TTC or TTB though. I don't remember any clarification for TT3 as a modification to the roof line. I will try to check that thread again or ask Greg for a TT3 clarification.
