Default Finally cracked urged 2 piece rotor

I've been running the same set of Urge 2 piece rotors from March 2016 and I finally cracked one. I upgraded to these to help with hub/bearing temps as well as brake balance. Also because I found my stock rears were overheating and burning through pads very quickly. Upgrading to this setup helped fade and improved pad life considerably. Unfortunately, after my track inspection last week I noticed I had some really uneven pad wear. My driver side rear caliper was sticking and caused the hot pad to sit forced to the inside of the rotor face causing some cracks on the inside of the rotor. I'm not sure how long it has been doing this but I am glad I caught it. I called Urge and they had some new rings for me within a few days and I was back on track this weekend (along with a new caliper).

I couldn't be happier with the results. 28 track days and 112 sessions! The nice part was that the rotors didn't really have any wear. I'm pretty sure I could've gotten another 80 sessions out of them. On to the picture:

Stock vs Urge comparison

All sorted out and back on track this weekend!

Good review of your successful use of the Urge rear rotors. Looks like they are a good option.

Do you have ducts on them? I doubt it would have made a difference with the sticking caliper though.

Similar positive, long lasting experience for me. I, however, have not yet seen even spider cracks.

I'm at 22 track days since July 2015, averaging ~200 miles each day and ~2.5 hours. Of those days, I've finished 10-15 of them with 45-60 min sessions.
