Florida Opportunities?

Well, I've now got about 1,500 miles on my S2K, and am enjoying it more and more. My last car was a '91 MR2, which I also enjoyed, but this Honda is something else again. This thing (1) looks great, (2) goes super in straght lines, and (3) is great in the twisties.
Wht's available in Florida where I can let this thing fly, but legally? (I'm in DeLand) I've never tried anyhing like this before with a car (I'm 53) but this car has me itching.
I see from other posts there is a weekend event at Sebring. How would I learn what else is available around the state? Anyone?

Welcome aboard. I'm in Daytona. I see so few of our cars around here. I think you're the closest owner to me on this board now.
I've got friends who claim they can "get me onto the speedway" but I don't know how serious they are, and I've not pushed the issue. After just getting back from a 15k service today at Jon Hall and internalizing that I'll need new rear tires at over $200 per tire after only 9 months of ownership, I don't know how crazy I can afford to be with my baby.
I fly down I-4 several times per week visiting my kinda-significant other in Casselberry... I'll wave if I see ya!

Friend I know is a 7-11 manager trainee in the area. Saw a Sliver/Red a week or 2 ago at her store, thought it was me... probably you!
