The backstory: This was the first S2000 that I ever owned. Bought it in 2003 when I was living in Chicago. Had it Comptech supercharged and 4.57 geared by Hardtopguy in 2003. Drove it that way until 2008. Started in motorsport in 2008 with autocross. Was classed in SSM. Bought BSP parts from Uyeda and Tipple (shocks / springs / wheels). Broke two diffs. Upgraded to the IP R200 diff set. Broke 6 hubs. Upgraded hubs. Increased boost and did injectors and AEM EMS. Started HPDE at Road America in 2009. Blew an engine. Went turbo. Had DB performance try and install it. Blew up engine on track at Brainerd 2010 after the installation just didn't hold up and melted a lot of under hood items. Sent it to Asura to have the engine built and the Quaife transmission installed. He stalled over a year and ultimately failed to complete the job.
Sent it to LJ at Full Blown in late 2011 and he competed the build within weeks. Ran the car a little this year (2012) and it really wants to play on big track. It didn't blow up during days of TnTs and multiple back to back autocross runs. Took it to a PDX to shake things down and found a couple of small things that need tweaking / engineering.
Unlike the SOS build and the Andrew W. build, this is a no-frills dirty car. It's going to be shaken down until the bugs are worked out before getting the pretty treatment. That'll be coming, but it'll be after all the oil leaks and spills and smoke are all ironed out.

In my experience, there is a lot of beta testing that goes on in engineering something that literally needs everything upgraded. I've blown up a lot of car parts and now I think I'm up to a semi-reliable vehicle that is a whole lotta fun. I didn't video any of the track work up to this point, but as it graduates up in durability you bet I'll get some logged.
I'm hoping to see some of you Midwest NASA guys out next summer!

Over the Winter, getting full fire suppression kit and a few more coolers. Still deciding on tires for next season. Looks like the Advans are very fast. Likely faster than the A6s.

The car and the videos are awesome. If you could please give us details as you find problems and address them. Your transmission sends a Chris Mathews style thrill up my leg
