Default Grand Finale at Thunderhill...SCCA ITE FINAL RACE

It's the last race weekend of the season.

Krazik is in 2nd place behind Kibort by a mere 2 points. If you saw the video from the last event, Kibort lucked out. Torquing his way to a victory, after blasting past us following a full course yellow that caused the grid to close up the lead we had gained on him up to that point in the race (15 car lengths). All those irrelevant calculations mean nothing. Winning is winning. And we are looking for a victory in ITE for 1st place this weekend, and 1st place overall for the season.

Thunderhill is Krazik's home track. Back from the days of him tracking his street car on 16" ra1s while still daily driven like many of us today.
Thunderhill is where an NA S2000 is King. And a SCed S2000 will reign victorious. The track has rhythm, and if you listen quietly you can hear the sound of large displacement engines getting pummeled by the vibrato of Soichiro Honda's VTEC wailing a shrill 8500RPM.
We are coming in heavy with throttle slammed hitting peak boost going over the blind crest of turn 9 flat out.

So to all of you track junkies out there, this is the end of 2008 for the S2Ki Race Team and we appreciate all of you support and encouragement this year.

Stay tuned for the updates and we will keep you posted on qualifying and race results.

Best regards,
Asura

For all of you in the Bay Area, Halloween is cancelled this year. Please bring your track car and helmet to Sears Point for a day of leisure hosted by Aaron Bitterman and Speedventures. I will be there testing some interesting aero products for Steve from Password:JDM with Krazik in the #8 Race car. Let's see if we can dip into the 1:45s or better at Sears Point.

Practice went well today. So far so good.

This is so stressful. All over a little plastic trophy. Imitation wood and bronze-style placard, but made in Taiwan We should just buy ourselves one from the mall, it would be cheaper.
