Default Hankook RS3 V2

I just saw these on tirerack. Has anyone tried these yet? Anyone have any info that isnt on the site?

Curious how they compare to the old RS3. Pricing is comparable.

The tires are still in transit from Korea. They will reach customers hands at the end of April.

They are like over 100 more per set, not counting shipping. Wtf?

I suspect Hankook likes money.

(Also the old prices were probably sort of close out prices)

No, they were not closeout prices. (they use to be 150ish for 255-40-17, my first set I bought was $132 per tire.......the good ol' days)
They increased the price to be in the same ballpark as Bridgestone Re11a, Dunlop zii, but still be the "cheaper" tire.
It is crap.

If hankook can manage their supply chain and actually have them in stock, then I don't mind. What good is a set of tires that you cant get being $100 cheaper? Its still price competitive with the Z2 and RE11A, but its just not the crazy gideon price difference.
