Default Hankook RS4 Hot Pressure

I got a set of R4S I'm going to try out and was looking for a good starting point for hot tire pressure. Tire rack suggest 36 psi hot, I've seen some BWW guys like up to 38 psi hot, and some Miata guys like as low as 27-28 psi hot. Can any s2k owners share their own experience please? Thanks in advance!

On my E36 M3 I liked them around 30-34 hot. Above 36-37 they would get greasy very fast. This worked ffor autox and trackz the greasiness mainly showed up on track.

My guess is it would be similar w the S2K.

Problem is the heat changes on each tyre,ie road conditions corners left or right ect & geo settings
decided on 31 rear 31.5 front on ad08 cold.when hot ends up at 36 all round <255/225 17s.>
Also suppose chalking the tyre would be a good idea also to see were its running.
read this today and found it interesting, for my novice xp

If you read GRM most of these tires in this class (re71, z2ss, ad08, rival, etc) like pressures on a light car like a Miata in the 28-36 range. I wouldn't shoot above 36.

I'm on my second set of RS4s. I have found the upper limit before they start to lose grip is around 38 hot. I don't notice any difference between that and 34-35 in terms of how the car behaves, but wear is more even on my car at the higher pressures so I aim for that. I think each specific suspension setup and alignment will have some effect too. If you don't already have one, it's worth investing in a tire pyrometer and spending time at a test and tune session.
