Yeah I do have the single diagonal. The trimming was wine consuming but seems to be successful. I just received my door edge guard today so reassembly should start this weekend. I’ll get some more pics up soon.

So with that diagonal bar, the Secret Compartment is now inaccessible?

No, the secret compartment isn’t going to open again. This was known and as advertised on the Hard dog site, so not a surprise. I considered removing the cover to just have it as a cubby, but didn’t want to lose the wind deflector.

Does yours have a harness bar? I have a feeling you're going to be buying another roll bar in the future.

I spent quite a while thinking about that. But the purpose really is street first with a few lapping events for some fun. I’ve got a few friends who race Radicals, so I would likely go that route if I’ve ever got enough time to get more serious about time at the track.

But there’s of course a chance you could end up right. If so, how difficult is it to remove the under coating spray to get the bolts out?

If you can break the bolts free, they use the same backing plate.

I battled the same decision for months since I wanted to keep my interior. Ended up doing the full double diagonal and ditched interior. When I put the center console back in it looks just like stock unless you look close.

If you do decide to go with harnesses, I've done a custom install where we tied the harness bar into the main hoop, through the secret compartment. Came out really clean.
