Hmmmm...... last track car I can think of that you may fit comfortably in is a Porsche 911. But.... I think the 911 fitment is very similar to the Cayman, so perhaps not.

What I fit in is a late model stock car, roughly the SCCA GTA regional class. It also has the advantage of being easier to maintain, less expensive parts, good handling. It is also safer than anything else typically raced other than its other GT class relatives. Unlike GTL the parts are readily available from suppliers that have them in stock and charge more-or-less reasonable prices. These are composite-bodied cars on tube frame chassis without wings. I'm a bit concerned that the performance level (500+hp, 2800lb, 13" wide Hoosiers) is a bit fast on most road courses. And the competition is very thin. My super late model is an offset chassis, so not really applicable. On a 1/3 mile short track with top speeds under 110, it is relatively safe for a race car.
