Yup that was the old bodies that have since been replaced with the new shorter ones. Funny thing is the shock builder left the helper spring on the top still even after I asked to move it to the bottom. It made it all last season like this and has zero scratches on it so I'll leave it the way it is for another season.

Finger gap means nothing to most of us. Please measure from the inside of the fender lip to the center of the wheel.

Yea the JRZs have been cut down to 10.5" from the lower mounting hole to the top of the shock body. To run a car this low that's the only way to do it without bottoming out.

In my opinion I think you'll be in the bump stops all the time and would raise it back up or spend the money to shorten the rear shocks. I'd listen to what ever everyone else says tells you to do though...

I think I'm easily hitting them at my current height

1 inch of travel isn't much regardless of spring rate

That's what she said

Or get shorter shocks
Shocks are probably made close to stock height so anything you go lower from there will take away from travel.
Even if they are shorter than stock they may have less travel to begin. My Ohlins are that way, 30mm shorter on front and 38 on rear. Total travel is ~20mm less but bumpers are only 20mm which is half of stock. I am also limited how low I can go due to running out of the travel. So, either not lower it any more or use stiffer springs.
If I was you I would not go stiffer on springs, I think 900 is way to much. I would raise car up until it stops hitting bumpers hard. You have short bumpers like me, you will feel that thing bottom. It will feel like tire is jumping up/down few times when you get hard on bumper.

Do it, you don't need big bumpers, you just need enough to keep shock from hitting hard. If you have right springs and ride height you should not be hitting bumper hard in which case you don't need them.

My bump stops are tiny and fit into the upper spring perch. They are just there to prevent shock damage if bottomed out. Before the new bodies my shocks didn't have bump stops on them and that's why the damage happened and they started leaking. :/

As all of you all know my car is slammed and I still have 14mm of travel that I've never used. Gotta love shortened shocks!

I wonder if you have 14mm between tire and fender to actually use it all. I know my front is just rubbing liner.
