J's Racing style CF HOOD
I have one, and I have a temp gauge. Around town I am consistently 2 degrees C lower. At the track, it takes longer for the car to heat up (not warm up) and cool down laps are more efficient.
I have no data, but I don't think cutting the oem hood is as effective as a slightly louvered vent like J's, Amuse, ASM etc.
As for weight goes, I would've bought FRP if it was available and cheap. 1-2lbs is negligible, however being able to drive an extra lap or two each session, each track day day is significant.
