I was in the garage earlier checking out the Kumhos and I noticed on the little sticker on each tire that they talk about it being directional. The problem is I think I've got to rights for the rear. Is this possible or can they be reversed from side to side? I'm calling tire rack in the AM but thought i'd see what kind of feedback you guys might have!
Thanks. |
Nope... don't worry about what they say. FWIW, CUT who distributes the tyres (i.e. sells to TireRack) always sends out correct sets, but in all honesty it doesn't matter. CUT also does track support at the autocrosses, and road racing. But, the short answer Mack... is don't worry about it! They are symmetrical tyres. :)

Cool!:)
I did a little research and found this on the tirerack site "However, while V700 tires continue to be branded with right ("R") or left ("L") side of vehicle markings and rotation arrows which originated with Kuhmo's desire to reduce stress on the tire's tread splices, Kuhmo has since developed tread splices that make following the side of vehicle markings and directional arrows unnecessary. Today, there is only one part number for each size tire and experience has shown that V700 tires can be installed on either side of the car, run at any wheel position, and are not required to be run directionally." So once again.... "you are correct SIR!":D:D Thanks Jason! |
