The truck and trailer are borrowed, but I've towed enough for it to be mine by proxy.

Thanks for the tips guys. As I'm getting closer into purchasing a trailer, I'm researching on all available options. Does anyone have any experience with tilt trailers? I'm leaning more towards the hydraulic version as the electric will require more maintenance. Here are some videos, getting the car up the trailer seems so much easier with the tilt. Don't have to worry about aligning the car on ramps. http://youtu.be/-VODfrbLkQA

cars that are low in the front, or with decently long overhangs past front wheel centerline (like all S2k's) will drag the nose attempting to use a tilt trailer

Well, at the very bottom, bottom rung of the racing ladder is me.

Ford Escape - tow capacity 3,500 lbs. Home made single axle utility trailer, no brakes (yet). Has been good enough to get me to VIR, Watkins Glen, Pocono and others with the MGA. But so far, I've been afraid to haul the S2000 with this junior racer rig.

I'd suggest driving the rear of the Escape up on ramps instead of using the jack to lift both the tow rig and trailer.
