Nice.

What's the weight of the OEM one?
I believe the OEM one weighs 15-20 lbs.
Can you give some more info on the 2 you sell? I think one is race, and one is just a skeleton. How are the 2 fitted? Is one just a cover which can be held on by race clips, and the other uses OEM hinge points?

I want to attach a wing to it so needs strength in the right place. Both suitable?

The race has the full OEM bracing, but in carbon fiber - the other is just the outer shell. The race will reuse your factory hinges, the skeleton will have to be mounted with trunk pins or some other option you choose.

Either is okay for use with a wing, but when ordering, wed need to know which wing and what style mounts to properly reinforce the trunk in the necessary areas.

If I can answer any other questions, let me know.

Thanks,

Austin

Hi Austin, how would your lid cope with a centre mount wing like the J's?

Hey MB,

Our standard trunk with oem bracing can be built with extra reinforcement where your wing is to be mounted. For these applications, we ask that you let us know exactly what wing you will be using, along with a few key measurements.

The trunk skin only can be made to handle the additional load as well, but this is very dependent on mounting type, etc.
