These also do not clear spoon calipers... They require a 7mm spacer or so

Default Rota Grid 17x10 50

Bringing up this old thread. I see on eBay, there are people selling Rota Grid 17x10 50. Those wheels don't have stupid huge lip. Some member also confirmed that they would fit BBK no problem. There is an old classified post on here, the seller swears these fit stoptech, brembo, APRacing. Could anyone confirm this?

no guarantees, but it looks like Andrie Hartanto (sponsored by Rota) is running these wheels with a BBK. See here: Prima Racing « Prima Racing Website Prima Racing

I almost pulled the trigger on these wheels and decided to just pony up a little bit more for some known quality wheels that have confirmed clearance. I went with the wedsport SA-72R in 17x9.5 +47. They also have a 17x10+55 option - decided I didn't want to deal with inboard clearance issues and went 9.5 instead.

Huhm... I thought OP was running Rota RT5? So he switched to Rota Grid to clear BBK? If you have any link to his wheel and tire setup, could you please post it here?

Are there actually inboard clearance issues? One of my four 17x10 +55 showed up in the mail today so I haven't had a chance to throw a set of tires on yet and test fit.

My guess is that you'll likely have these rubbing issues on the inner fender liner.

I had this problem with 17x9 +48 on OEM springs.
I had the same issue with 17x10+52 on 700lbs. springs up front with 245/45.
It will depend on your ride height and how stiff your springs and sways are.

It only happens on hard compression at the track, and only up front.

Oh, if that's all then I am not worried, I already have that; I was worried about control arm interference.

I never had problems with control arms at +52, though i've heard reports of other people having it.

At +55, under full droop when you have it on jack stands, i'm pretty sure you'll have a-arm contact. Report back I'd like to know. I was almost temped to try the 10.5 +44s.

Sounds good, I'll drop them off to have tires mounted tomorrow and report back.
