Yes thats what the rattle sounds like Jon.

I think you only need to chamfer the bottom - you'll see the little shoulder on the Penske shaft that the adapter needs to slide over.

Ohhhhh ok I get why you think it needs a chamfer now. Yeah I'll definitely try that whenever I get time and update on if it helps, thanks.

do you have any updates? i have a problem with my t1r coilover. its only my right rear side and it sounds like me and you have the same problem and noise.. i even took off the rear sway bar end link just to make sure my endlink isnt the problem. my axle nut is also tight and snug.

It was the top hats. I didn't try to fix them, I just got different ones, and it went away.
