That's a good idea. Thanks! Do you know if they make them without check valves? The only two piece ones I've seen have them (which I don't really want, since I like to gravity bleed).

Do you know what thread size/pitch the stoptechs are? I have spares from my wilwoods you can have.

I would also recommend plugging the bottom two on the caliper and trying those for the top two.

Wilwood two piece bleeder screws can be bought without a check valve.

I appreciate that! I'm in Canada though, so just ordered a set on Amazon. My ST-40 kit doesn't have bleeders on the bottom, just a hard line connecting front and back (which doesn't appear to be leaking). So the plan is to replace the top two bleeders on each caliper. (Only the outside ones are leaking, but I might as well swap them all.) Specifically, I will:

-unhook the brake lines allowing the calipers to drain
-remove the bleeder screws and clean the seats
-put some thread sealant on the bases of the Wilwood ones (have some from Speed Bleeders intended specifically for bleeder screws)
-install the Wilwoods
-bleed the calipers

Then will take it to the track on Saturday and hopefully enjoy no more leaking! Aaand then probably repaint the calipers

Yep, saw that and ordered a set! So, updated PSA:

If you're going to buy a Stoptech kit, pick yourself up a set of these: https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...6069/overview/

Be very very careful when torquing the black bleeder. I've snapped a few in my day.

Do you know the torque spec? Otherwise I'll just snug it down, not tighten (as usual with bleeders, but slightly more careful..)

I'm sure this doesn't happen on every set, or even most, or they'd probably do something about it.

I've tried to find a torque spec but it seems just snug is the way to go.
I don't have the exact model you bought now but I think the bleed screw is the same and it takes a 1/4" wrench.
Had to buy one just for this, stupid imperial stuff
