Race Camera
Here are samples of me putzing around town. Ignore the obvious black splotches in the videos. They only showed up after converting them from 300MB .avi files to 60MB .mp4 files, they are not present in the source file. My biggest complaint is the field of view. I have the camera mounted as far back as possible and I am unable to get the full front of the car as well as my inputs and the gauges.

Jack - I am really liking your setup
What kind of resolution do you have on the bullet camera? What are you using for audio input?

tink: i believe u can convert your bullet cameras to wider angle by swapping in a different lens, or get wider view cams....chase cam can provide.

jack: great video, don't holdback...i wanna see that video re-edited with REALLY sarcastic subtitles...please!

That camera would be PERFECT low cost solution for me (Less then $200, all-in one, solid state memory) if it had a wide angle lense option...

max - What setup did AJ Racing have in their Time Attack car? Was that an economical setup?
Several years ago, I bought a camera mount from Ricks, that screws into the same holes as the wind screen. But, I am not sure that he sells them any more. I still have the mount in my car and it works great. Camera that I use is a Sony Digital dvd. You can see the camera and the mount in this picture.
