For reference, in my recent NASA race there (without any drilled baffle) I filled and sprayed over 1 quart of oil. In a 30 minute race.
It took 6 sessions to finally fill mine enough to have it spill out of the catch can. I normally only empty it at the end of the day, but I also normally only run 2 or 3 hot laps per session and a maximum of 4 sessions per day for NASA TT. I was learning the track on Friday, so I ran a lot of laps compared to my normal NASA weekend.

And you don't have your can connect to the intake do you?

That is correct, I have a custom can. My outlets are straight out, and I simply put small diameter little filters on each.

Something small like this.

Thanks, that's what I thought you meant, but wasn't sure.

We were filling our catch cans, then oiling the engine bay, within 12 minutes In PT and TT sessions last month. Looks like this mod will definitely help.

Yeah. That really sucked having to hose out the engine bay 5 times a day. Only benefit is that I'm sure my left front frame rail won't rust. Can't wait to get mine back and see how it works at Gongerman with Hoosiers.

Thanks, much appreciated. Have to see what the outcome of the teardown is first. Then might be in touch

Sounds good!

I have video footage from my weekend at Gingerman. Before and after the valve cover is installed.
