There's this thread which consolidates links to two other threads. I'm not sure what works. I just got urge rear hubs. It's a track car, and the time/labor is far more valuable than the extra money spent on getting the right upgraded part. Especially if this is a track car.

I also have the Karcepts/Urge hubs in mine. I think the others mentioned have been fine too but I just have not gone down the path of which ones fit. But yeah, for me, I know the Karcepts work and they are good parts and since it costs my time and new bearings to replace them each time, I just went with those.
Urge hubs on mine. When I had the swap done, I figured better to "buy once and cry once" I haven't heard of anyone having a failure but that doesn't mean anything.

Yes, I agree with you and others here and I'll likely spring for the Karcepts hubs. Pricing out the CRV hubs, I see that they're close in price anyways, so it's not like I'm saving hundreds of dollars. The premium then buys some peace of mind.
Fingers crossed they'll have some kinda Black Friday sale that pops up this week... (not likely though).
That's the lowest price I've seen anywhere. But unfortunately that particular site doesn't ship to Canada. Prices at other US sites I've found are high enough for these CRV hubs that the difference in price vs. Karcepts is negligible (for ME... for others saving $50-100 would be a no-brainer).
My googling for CRV hubs in *Canada* has found that the pair will be ~400-450CAD. Obviously less than $400USD, especially given our dollar keeps dropping... but like I say, the Karcepts option does offer some peace of mind for the extra bucks.
Finally after 3 seasons and 33 events (~80 track days) of real abuse my Karcepts hub on drivers side has failed. It gave up in Hog Pen at VIR as I was matching my PB. I felt serious vibration and backed off fortunately. Result - cracked hub with 2 shaved off studs.
I yet to press the bearing out to see what it all looks like disassembled, but I am guessing it all originated from failing bearing. I was getting some warnings - some noise, which was attributed originally to CV joint going bad. Then it was clear that the side was getting too hot when axle was being rebuild by Ben from puddymodracing. In 2-3 sessions leading to the failure I started feeling the vibration but thought it was from the lack of wheel balancing - Hoosiers spinning on the wheel (seems like a common issue).
Not to self - change hubs/bearings proactively after 20 (max 25 events). I definitely have more faith in Karcepts than OEM. New set is in.
