From what I have seen with other guys comparisons; Some have said that BFG R1's are faster than the Hoosier R6, others say they are close but not quite as good. The BFG-R1 should be massively faster than Toyo RA1.

RA1 should not even be in the same Zip code as either one.

Thanks

Yes, R1 is in a different league than RA1 but I've only run RA1s for years so it's my basis for comparison. One point I didn't mention is that the RA1s were 255 on a 9.5" wheel and the R1s are 225 on a 8" wheel. So far it seems that the R1s are generating equal or better lateral grip from a 30mm narrower tire. Braking is definitely a step up.

The tire and wheel size difference explains a lot and really puts things in perspective. It was a bit confusing without that info.

Thanks

Great run Will!! Where did that RSX come from...that guy was on it! Glad to here that the set up is working so well for you.

Spencer didn't qualify and won! Very impressive to slot through 40 slower cars and 10 faster cars to win! He was racing his Cup-type Porsche also that weekend.

In the end his fastest lap was only 1s/lap faster than mine but it took me a little while to find my groove and then I was held up by the 2 Nissans.
