Roll cage suggestions
So, I’m looking into a full roll cage for 24 hours of lemons. Does anyone have real world experience with them being used for their safety factor? I know I’m basically asking who crashed their car and survived, but one thing I always believe in was you can cheap out on a lot in life but when it comes to safety get the best you can afford. Currently I’m looking at 2 kits, one from cage kits and another from trackspec. Both are priced about the same and appear safe to someone that knows nothing about the engineering of cages. So, what does everyone think?
Trackspec looks legit.
Essentially don't get some OTS kit like the 7-point from cusco etc. etc.
A real cage is going to be a custom weld job, and it looks like what Trackspec is marketing is that, a one-off custom job that will pass NASA/SCCA spec. Which, if it does that, you should be good.

best $ spent will be with a welded in custom rollcage. the bolted in ones can break under impact. hit up artsem at https://www.instagram.com/artsemfab/ . he has done some of rollcages for AS motorsports (https://www.shopasmotorsports.com/), their customers and also custom fab for the guys on gear and gasoline channel. he 3d scans the cars prior to install to get the fit perfect. he did my rollbar for my s2k. highly recommend him. with a custom cage the harness bar will also be custom fit to your height and seat.
