Rotor assembly screws
Necessary or not?
|
Nice to have when reassembling things but your wheels torques it down.
|
Totally useless more likely to seize than do anything
|
Little bit of anti-sieze and I've never had an issue.
I continue to use them. Of course they're not necessary but they make caliper placement that much easier. I know what Tut will say. He eats them for breakfast. |
I would use them if my rotors had them, I think it further minimizes the small chance of balance issues.

And we're officially tied at 4/4

Track car? Mine stay out. Those screws are the LAST thing I want to deal with if I have to swap rotors at the track. Even with a ton of anti-seize they don't come out easy.

If you're needing something to hold the rotor in place, 2 lug nuts work just fine.
|
I like them, why not? With proper tools I have never had one seize.
