I've been driving S2000 for more than 17 years and have got hundreds of track days under my belt between my two cars. I've never been unable to cleanly remove the screws. I use anti-seize and it keeps the rotor nicely stable when I change pads at the track or at home.

Do you have any idea how much work it would be to remove and install those screws every time I cracked a rotor? Just thinking about it makes me tired.

Throw them shits in the trash. If you need to keep the rotor in place while you're swapping pads, screw a lug nut on one of the studs. Much, much easier than dealing with those annoying screws.

I found 4 spare rotor screws while swapping tires this weekend...I installed them with some anti-seize

OT: Put brand new centric rotors on the front last weekend at VIR and ran them for a day. This weekend, day 2 @ CMP cracked one of the fronts even being pretty religious about doing cool down laps. WTF do I keep cracking rotors so often?! (I have ducts)

Do you do an entire lap of the track without using your brakes for a cool down lap before you hit the pits? Remember rotors crack in the pits not on track.

Just stop braking entirely. Problem solved.

On my last S2000, I took those screws off and never re-installed them. Will probably do the same when the time comes to swap rotors on my current car.
