Mike Sonny forgot to return your tape to you! So I have it and will be returning it to you when needed :p

You need WAYY more camber. The camber will help with static grip during sustained cornering, but more importantly, you won't destroy the outer shoulders.
(For the readers, his tires completely wore off the triangle indicator on the side of the tires; we unfortunately do not have access to a pyrometer) |

Thanks for your suggestions. Yeah I agree and cant wait for more camber! I hate seeing my tires like that. I was running 38 psi hot.
I saw your times and it looks like you were blazing! |
Ok I will see what I can do, thank you!
Thanks man! I don't think we had the chance to meet yesterday... |

Both of you are faster than me on staggered setups. Somewhere, I'm doing something wrong. Just need to figure out what. I'm already on the verge of dropping 2 tires on almost every turn >=T

I know that all of you guys are talking track times but what about on the street, the twisties? Does the Hankook take so long to warm up that they won't have full grip on the street?
|
Both of these tires won't grip at all on surfaces under 40F, and both tires take roughly a lap at the track to get up to their "full" grip level. However, even at street temps, they'll grip better than a lesser summer tire like the Pilot Sport PS2 or RE050.

Alright thanks, I was thinking about buying one of the two in a couple months when it warms up.
|
Mike, what tire pressures are you running for your rs-3's?
