The 8th S2K Challenge event was held on August 2, 2009 at Buttonwillow Raceway (#13CW). 28 (yes TWENTY-EIGHT!) S2000 drivers participated in the event, the best turnout yet for the 2009 S2K Challenge Series, and we are very pleased by the excitement the Series has generated among S2000 owners in SoCal. Here are the current Series points standings. Remember, participants' top 8 out of 11 events are counted toward the total, so if you missed or underperformed prior events, you still have 3 events left this year (9/26, 10/11 & 11/7) to make a comeback!

Remember, not only are there amazing prizes for remaining events, both individual and grand prizes, but the ultimate display of bragging rights: solid carbon fiber trophies for the 1st place finishers in Street and Modified Class:
