Hey guys, this event will be fast lap of the WEEKEND, not just day, due to limited availability. We want everyone who wants to run Laguna to be able to run, even if it's not on Saturday.

Let's gather the troops man! And figure out what day!

At least those that aren't doing 2 day registrations....

Sunday is probably the most feasible for most single day s2k's?

HMM so...

1st session counts? Or fast lap from 2/3/4 only?

This seems decidedly less fun since it will be all split up, though the scheduling of the event demands it.

I'd agree Ryan. But at least there is a compromise....

^ I wouldn't trust my catless Berk to be under 105 dB without doing a fancy redirect pipe away from the meter

You must be really loud to fail 105
Last week we had old nascar car and it did not pop sound. Don't think S2K can make that much noise without exhaust

This guy with a Berk registered 110 dB at an autocross, but he also had a header: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/970...a-92-db-limit/

I guess it depends where the meter is positioned and the tone of the exhaust. I think the Berk is pretty deep, which I believe would register a higher dB than a loud, but higher pitched exhaust. I wouldn't risk all that money (far drive/hotel/track day costs) to find out I can't drive because my exhaust is over 105 dB. A catless Berk will certainly be over 100 dB, and that's too close for me to chance it.

I doubt I'll make it to this MRLS event. Likely next year though (and hopefully for less than $390/day )
