Our new Wilwood Track-Day Brake System, for the Honda S2000 is available with introductory pricing for a limited time! Utilizing many of the same specifications of our AP Competition Brake System, we have put together a competition inspired brake system, utilizing lightweight, high-efficiency components. We're sure you'll agree this "Light-Track" BBK a fantastic option for high performance braking, with fantastic price points.

Ultra-lightweight Forged Wilwood Calipers with stainless steel pistons and high temp seals, paired with your choice of our light-track two-piece SBG 325x32mm Premium Rotors (32 directional curved vane), or two-piece AP Racing - Full Floating - 325x32mm rotors (72 directional curved vane). This kit utilizes the same quick-change 20mm thick pads as our AP Racing Competition Kit, and the same rotor size, providing you with amazing bang for buck..

Like the SBG Designed AP Competition Brake Kit, the SBG Wilwood front big brake kit is compatible with the SBG 314x20mm Competition Rear brake upgrade. In our effort to bring high performance brake kits to the motorsports enthusiast market, we’re offering an unbeatable starter price of $1345 for this full front braking system! Combine it with our rear competition kit, for a full brake system overhaul tuned to outperform brake kits costing thousands more! Check out our race-inspired, light-track kit while the pre-order sale lasts!

This is the perfect package for customers looking for the maximum bang for their buck when it comes to brake performance. These brake calipers utilize one of the most common racing pad shapes, and accommodate a full 20mm thick pad. Not only does this provide additional thermal insulation for the calipers, but with 43-50mm (depending on the pad choice) of useable anulus, wear on the face of the rotors, as well as the pads, is greatly reduced compared to smaller profile brake kits. This results in much more robust lifespan for both the rotors and brake pads, and maximizes your dollar per braking compound/use.

Do you have a template for wheel fitment? My 17x9+63 Advan RS2 failed the Stoptech ST40 by a couple mm.

Also, what is pedal feel like with this kit, stock rear, and stock brake master cylinder?

We did our best to keep this kit as low profile as possible. Look for 2+mm of clearance with our template HERE!

Because of the larger diameter rotor, the brakes are easier to modulate. With the smaller piston size and stock rear caliper, the brake feel is very similar to the stoptech kit (as a point of reference).

Using the larger piston sizes, along with our Rear Competition kit, the brakes require less pedal effort, due to the larger pistons, resulting in a more responsive feel.

Unfortunately we don't have those wheels here so I can't really say for certain. Hopefully someone with those wheels can check via the template above

Can you post some pictures of the standard rotors? How much would rotor replacements cost?

Replacement rings should be around $125 ($245 for AP floating rings) .

... and because it was asked in another thread, I'll repost the guide for compound/shapes... literally every brake pad manufacturer offers this pad shape in a variety of options/sizes. Bang for buck, or pad amount per dollar this pad shape is king but here's a few companies offerings

We tried very hard to create the best possible solution balancing price and performance. When we put together our Endurance AP Competition kit we left cost out of the equation, but for this setup that was one of our balance points for design.

standard rotor pics, we'll grab some in a minute and post we're assembling a number of RX7 kits today

SBG Premium two piece solid mount rotors, with high-bite hockey stick slot pattern. These hats are reverse compatible with our AP Competition 325x32mm fully floating rotors, and are offered as an upgrade option in the product page. In addition they also match our SBG Rear Competition vented brake rotors which retrofit the RX8 Caliper to the S2000 with MUCH larger rear rotors and retain stock parking brake functionality
