Well, the Ft. Myers ProSolo is upon us... just three weeks and we'll be headed down to Florida to do our first National level battling with the S2000. Winter has been fun, but man am I looking forward to Florida's sun and the first event of the season! The Penske shocks are almost ready, just waiting on one more part for the spring perches. The Mugen Exhaust is on... -check. Porterfield R4S Brake Pads... -check. JR Air Filter... -check. Comptech swaybar... -in the mail, hopefully. Geez Cube datalogger... -check.

Just gotta get another set of wheels, wait for the Hoosiers to arrive and rewire my darn trailer. Once again the off-season, which seems like such a long period of time in the fall, is almost over and things aren't done yet. And I really thought we were planning ahead this year! Oh well, it looks like everything will get done in time. So who all will be making the trip for the event? Also, who's doing the National Tour the following weekend? CG is graciously letting me store my car/trailer at his place so we don't have to drive back to Chicago between events. I think I'll post in the events forum, too... maybe some locals would like to come by and watch! Ft. Myers, FL Feb 16-18 and Meridian, MS Feb 23-25.

I can't wait!

Ft. Myers will be my first ProSolo and Meridian will be my first National event. Looking forward to seeing some good A Stock competition. I have the brake pads, air filter, custom front sway-bar, Kumho's, Mugen thermostat, and 1 year of AutoX experience.

Jason-

Just did some quick calculations and it looks like if you take I-75 from your neck of the woods Knoxville would be a good stoppin off place. It looks to be about halfway. You guys can crash here if this happens to be the route you take on the way down!

Just thought I'd offer!

Mugen thermostat?

(is that AS legal?)

Speaking of coming events, who's going to the west coast openers down in San Diego?

cool deal on the thermostat - learn something new every day!

what does it do differently/better than the stock one, I'm so completely ignorant, I apologize!

Opens sooner, closes later.. tries to stabalize water temps a little cooler. Possibility that it may delay heat induced timing retard a bit.

BTW - That was one of the "mods" that Gary Thomason had.
