Although the PCI mount is adjustable, once you tighten all the bolts, its a "fixed" mount. It does not have sliders but thats the trade off to be as low as possible

How far is the base of the seat from the carpet with the pci mount? Unless its touching or damn close, its not nearly as low as possible. If it is then that looks like a great off the shelf solution to the problem. If my seat sat 1/2" off the carpet it wouldn't be low enough for me to clear with a helmet. But 6'3" problems. I should have learned my lesson coming from a Miata

FWIW I finally test fitted this seat (brand new Evo 2) in the car and as expected it's a very snug fit. I'm using bc rails and am the 2nd from the bottom on the mounting holes for the front and the back. I'd say the seat sits you ~1" lower than my '06 oem seat (this is just a guesstimate). The seat has a wide base as people have noted so you can't use the very lowest mounting hole on the bc rails (as the base of the seat won't clear the rails at this point), but for me at 5'9", that extra 3/4" or so won't make a big difference. I used some large washers and flipped the brackets around 90 degrees on either the front or the rear (can't remember which) since the base of the seat is V shaped and gets wider as it comes forward.
Regarding fitment in the car, if you want it to slide w/ the sliders, you will need to trim the seat at the lower part by the tranny tunnel. It touches. You might need to trim on the driver's side lower as well by the frame rail/door where it barely touches, and the wing on the door panel just lightly touches as well. I'm debating switching to a pole position at this point because the EVO2 is a little snugger on my hips than I would like. We'll see. I haven't cut the seat yet, but it'd be quite easy to do the trimming with a dremel and put the cover back on. One other note, the bottom cushion is very flat in the butt region and very high under your leg which puts you at slight recline relative to the seat. For this reason I found using a higher mounting point on the front made me sit at too much of a recline. Just an FYI. Removing the seat pad you will sit leaning forward and it's quite uncomfortable. I'd definitely recommend against running without the seat pad. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

Can you post links to pictures without them being direct links to the files? Microsoft onedrive and Google Photos doesn't provide you with direct file access but a url. The old s2k supported it but it doesn't seem VBullcrapola supports it. Hopefully I'm wrong and I just don't know how the new forum works..

Here are the instructions for the new picture uploader, but don't know if it works.

Dj,
Thanks, but the photo uploader is junk. Seems like a javascript bug because as soon as I start typing it resets the text to the default message. Using firefox here. I mentioned it to IB staff, so maybe it'll get fixed. I guess I could try chrome or IE, but I'm not hopeful, it'd be much better, not to mention it should work for firefox..
I gotta hand it to the admins. What a great way to kill a site with already declining viewership..

I'll just post the links here, apologies that they're not embedded, but you can blame s2ki.
