Default Setup for 2015 Street class

I'm trying to help my dad research setups for next season. I've read the old stock setup threads, and the STR, but I want to make sure that the new rules won't change the suggested setups.

He is running staggered rivals, and our two sites are very crummy asphalt with lots of loose gravel. He's gotten an alignment, and we are trying to figure out what his options are for the front sway bar. I'm not up on all the rules, but would the options listed in the STR thread e what we should be looking at? are they all still being made? what are pros and cons of them?

If there's loose gravel, pick a different tire than a Rival.
Tread blocks don't evacuate rain or pebbles.

The Karcepts bar is great. I have it on a BS AP1. BS allows one bar swap.

I just got a 2006 that I am planning on running in BS. I am trying to decide which size tires I want to install. I am thinking about just got with stock size to not overtire the rims. Has anyone been successful using the stock sizes?

depends on the rest of your setup. What alignment are you considering and what bar?

Generally speaking, I wouldn't go any less that 225 front and 255 rear. Most BS regionals are running 225 to 245s in the front and I don't know of anyone not running 255s in the rear.

I am planning on getting Konis, a Eibach front bar, and using the stock wheels.

Unless your shocks are blown, I wouldn't replace them - they are good shocks. don't run the regular konis. Not enough damping - the car will feel really soft and slow to take a set.

I agree. Spend the Koni money on a better front bar. You won't be happy with the Eibach for autocross.

Anybody considered running 18X8.5 rears for better gearing? I find myself running out of gear way earlier than my 275 hohos. I'm thinking a taller, lightweight, wheel/tire combo might help (without hurting).
