Sparco Helmet Carbon Fiber and expiration information
Hello Everyone, sorry I know this isn't a for sale area, but just wanted some confirmation.
We just bought a whole bunch of carbon helmets, but they are SNELL 2010 but brand new in box.
Do the racing bodies have an expiration on your helmets and do they check the SNELL?
I know the professional series check and usually expires 10 years and heard that NHRA allows 12 years after SNELL approval.
Can you guys confirm for me? I had a bunch of customers asking me since the helmets are so cheap.
$500 for a new Sparco Carbon helmet, want to give them correct information.

Most groups that I have run with peviously (Northeast) give you the 10 years or till the second 5 year certification group becomes widely available. I.E. SA 2010 good till 2020 (or 2021 if it takes that long for the new cert. to be issued
