Spoon vs. BNIB OEM Block?

I've heard that the going rate for brand new OEM blocks is getting astronomical these days.

What is the real going price for an OEM block with crank (i've also heard that that is specifically what is hard to find)? new & used?

Also, I've seen these:

Aside from blue printing, what're the differences? Anyone know the lead times on a spoon motor? Are the spoon motors more robust, able to rev higher, upgraded valve springs/retainers?

Edit: can't find out how to delete my one thread... found my own answers - looks like no upgraded valve springs/retainers, but other stuff instead.

Now I'm just wondering what the realistic differences in price and lead times are for oem (new/used) vs. spoon

Where can you find a BNIB block now? Spoon is still a lot more expensive than the smattering of BNIB blocks I've seen..($6-7k)

I'd contact Jessie Streeter and have him get you a block straight from Spoon.

There are aftermarket billet blocks with water jackets...and all the long block internals (crank, rods, pistons) are available and usually better (stronger, lighter, etc.) as aftermarket pieces. K-series, but that may not be a big issue. $6500: Magnus Billet Honda K series K20/K24 Engine Block – Magnus Motorsports

The block is listed online as a restricted part for $2700. Wouldn't you want aftermarket rods, pistons, and crank anyway? Maybe also sleeve the block?
