About $6700-$7000 for an OEM short block seems to be the market rate if you can find a vendor with one.

How about, I give you $3500, you buy that $2700 block, and you send me the block currently in your car?
And why would you send me a link to a K20/K24? It's not a problem finding and sourcing those motors. I asked for a F22C. This is a stupid question on my part... The answer is "because DavidNJ, that's why."

Wow that's pricey. With the fancy cyl wall coating it seems like used shortblocks are very hard to rebuild. Personally I don't trust a lot of sleeved blocks. Seen too many issues years ago.

@Billman250 was gracious enough to provide cost of a new NIB 06-09 2.2L (6k) I HIGHLY recommend going through Billman if you are wanting an entirely new shortblock.
