Default spring rates for jrz singles

I have jrz coil overs and at the moment i have 550front and 400 rear rates, and i am looking to go to a softer rate, and i am looking for input. i was considering going down to 400front and 375 rear, the car will be 90% street driven, 225f/255r tire sizes, toyo t1r's not race tires. Im looking for more comfort, still performance minded of course. Does anyone else have any suggestions or opinions on that change? also where is the best place to buy springs for my shocks? do i just go through eibach direct or is there another/better place.
thanks

CHRIS.

I have had 400/400 and recently went to 500/450, but haven't tracked it yet with the new rates.

Your F/R ratio is pretty high.

I'll trade you a pair of 400's for your 550's, or if you really want to go nuts I have a pair or 800's. I assume you're running the 8"x2.5" sizes.

does anyone else have experience with 400/400 setup? From what i recall going to a softer front without going a softer rear as well will give me some oversteer, is this true? any other info would be great

chris,

I have an '01 with

450/450 on Bilstein PSS9's
Stock F bar/No R bar
OEM 16X7.5 at all four corners with 245/45/16 RA1's
TC anti-bumpsteer kit

For me it is very neutral at the track AND "just" streetable.

All else being the same, this would give you less understeer and/or more oversteer. But what is important here is the sum of the wheel rate due to the springs and that due to the sway bars.

Compared to his current setup, yes. Compared to the stock setup, which I believe has a higher rear spring rate than front (correct me if I'm wrong), the 400/400 would tend towards more understeer and/or less oversteer. All else being the same.
