Your only real option is B. Neither of the other 2 really make sense, nor do I think they would be completely safe for an entire season. The Z1's aren't ideally staggered and most likely heat cycled out even if they still have tread on them, which is probably why you don't like how they feel.

That said, you've also had 3 suspension setups and 4 tire setups in the last 8 months which makes it very difficult to say what will get you what you want, especially when 3 of those sets of tires were bought used (and you didn't say was size R1R's you were running). I think you might be surprised what a new set of 235/255 RS3's or ZII Star Specs on the 17's feel like.
