Stock hood latch or Hood pins with CF hood?
 
I'm going to install my CF hood today and was wondering what people's thoughts were on both mechanisms.

The stock latch should be fine I'm sure and would save me the hassle of cutting holes. On the other hand, I could always remove the hood latch and cable assembly and just run the hood pins since there's no point for the latch with them if I make it a snug fit.

Care to share which you prefer and why?

I vote Aerocatch latch. I don't trust how the latch mechanism on the hood side is secured in place. If it's helicoils or something else, I fear of them pulling out of the fiberglass/carbon hood. VS our stock hoods, where the retaining nuts are aluminum and welded in place.
