sway bar end links (help)

hey guys, i know u guys are racing i bought some sway bar adjustable end links, and i am wondering how to install it properly.

do u shorten the length of the end links for more tension or do u actually increase the length of it so it can somewhat improve handling of the car...

but my guess is that i should shorten it? but im not too sure..i want to be sure before i do the install.

thanks

As long as the end links are at the same length (when the front suspension is at full droop, for example) you won't have any issues. You CAN preload a corner by changing the length. The tension comes from the moment arm of the sway bar and where you mount the end link to the sway bar in the case of the saner bar. So, keep the end links the same length, and tell us what sway bar you have so we can tell you how to adjust it.

are the endlinks supposed to be the same length or does the bar just have to have no tension on it on level ground? Small fortune told me to set one end link while on the ground then go to the other side and fit that appropriately.

That's probably a better way to do it.

im putting it on the ap1 sway bars, i was able to buy a used ap1 sway bar (ap1 year 2000), and they are a little thicker than the ap2.

but my car is the 07 ap2...

thanks again in advance

i was told that i can get one for the rsx type s.and so i did, and while looking at it (the adj. end links) i am sure its going to fit. i just need to know how to install it correctly.

and yea i got it at honda-tech, from some guy selling it on that forum.
