Default Intermittent "clunking" when shifting into gear after track session.

As the title states:
- I have been having intermittent "clunking" when shifting into gear after track session.
- Only occurs after track session and only for the first (<3) few shifts and then goes away.
- Have NOT had any trouble shifting into gear (just make odd clunk sound when shifting into gear)
- Happens after a track session
- Diff/Trany fluid were replaced 1 month ago.

I suspect mounts may be loose and the engine and driveline maybe misaligned after tracking the car.

Any ideas?

Mine does this too, I always assumed it was poor clutch disengagement and the clunk is the driveshaft suddenly loading up.

Can also be a sticky input shaft bearing—spinning the input shaft like the clutch would, but with a low enough force that the syncros can overwhelm it.

have you checked your trans mount? Diff mounts? I have the same clunk but mine is normal. Also maybe I can hear it cuz there only a thin sheet metal between the diff and the cockpit. Fluid can be big aswell. Track s2ks hate oem mtf.
