Tire Trailer...

I know this is not the want to buy section but I figure you guys are the only ones likely to be selling one.

So anyone selling one?

Many people buy the one from Harbor Freight. I was going to do that as well, but my neighbor said "No, we will build one instead." Designed just for the S:

Yeah I was looking at the one at harbor freight. It would just be nice to have on all ready to go with the posts for tires and stuff for the same or less $ even ;)

Harbor has one with 8" wheels and 12" wheels, Can I put the 12" wheels on the 8" wheel trailer? The trailers are actually different, I want the bigger wheels don't need the bigger capacity with springs and such.

When I was researching the HF version, a lot of the people here suggested the 12" tires, so that's what I went with.

I have the 12" tire HF version. It took forever to find a 40" tool box. But I did find one of eBay.

Check Princess Auto for something similar

I bought the one with the 8" tires and put on 12's. It seems to work fine.

got the trailer from Northerntool, same thing as harbor frieght... bought the plastic lockable box from lowes for 45 bucks, some angle iron to mount the tires, couple straps, 4-5 hours and you have a nice trailer for 300 bucks.

getting registered in your state.... whole nother story. :D

I built the Harbor freight trailer, and chose to put the wheels in back. I load so much crap in the tool box (including spare rotors), that tongue weight is never an issue. Anywhere I'm bringing spare tires, I also bring a jack, jackstands, and tools. And spare brake parts. Lots of weight there.
