Good news, the Boxster S came in third in SS and ran within a half second of the first place Corvette. Based on the national results, the S2000 is unlikely to be placed in a class where it is uncompetitive.

Yeah, Andy's an okay driver.
It seems like it's pretty common for the top driver in a class to beat 90% of the next faster class.
Like they say, it's very much about the driver. Look at what Derek Butts did in GS in that auto-tranny luxo-barge...

From what I saw and heard, the evidence to keep the s2k in the new b-stock is pretty compelling. Personally, my issue has not been what class to put the s2k in, but rather to make sure that wherever we go, the Boxster goes too. The national tour results point to the similiarity between the Boxster and the s2k, but the national championship is a smoking gun. Since the Board has thus far maintained that the Boxster belongs in B-Stock, why, we must belong there too!
I have to say that my runs were FAR better than I expected. I ended up 14th, entirely due to my VOTA racing membership, I'm sure! I got lucky, but I'll take it. BTW Mack, I was a little leery about putting the hitch on the back of the car, but I think that's 20 pounds in the right place. I stayed planted all through the turns )
