Track day driving critiques and tips
#21
Thank you all again for the input. Last Friday I was able to hit the track on a relatively non-busy lapping day. I tried to take into consideration the input that I've received and utilize it in my driving. Of course most of that was forgotten as soon as I stepped into the vehicle. I did manage to achieve a personal best on tires that were different brands and more than 8 years old! If anyone has anything left to roast me on I would appreciate any input!
I did overbrake on the long straight (t4) which cost me a lot of time. And I still made the mistake of locking my eyes onto the apex instead of looking thru the turns. It was pretty obvious in some areas such as turn 3 where I only started to hit the gas after hitting the rumble strips.
