Default tracked and rolled Mustang...

I'm not sure why I'm posting this. I guess it's just as a reminder that driving fast, especially on a track with a "street" car, can be dangerous.

If your a novice, get instruction and stay within your limits, ESPECIALLY if your without track specific safety equipment like a roll bar.

That said, I hope that the hoops on the S2000 combined with the "structural" windshield would fare better than this:

And the story here:

By the way, NO, I don't read the mustang boards! Saw a link to this elsewhere....

Man, I can't believe I originally looked at that second picture and didn't notice the (unrolled!) S2000! Sharp eye, Randy!

Yes, willow springs.

I was there the day after that happened. I posted about this and linked to a few pictures I took at

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=24524

Also the S2K in the pictures the owner of the mustang linked to belongs to one of our sponsors, Ben from Bulletproof Automotive. The S2K's in the pics I linked to belong to me (the awesome looking red one ) and another board member, Desert Tortoise.

In spite of the guy's story, I think he was trying to keep up with an S2000 and couldn't quite handle it...

Looks a lot like that BMW from the June FATT at Summit Point.
