I don't know, maybe his is aluminum? Knowing him that would be the motive and probably is if he makes it. Its worth looking into. Of course the $150 cost is probably near doubled after that upgrade? I don't know if he sells just the replacement bracket or the whole kit with damper too.
I bought just the bracket from him. Mounts under the fuse box.

I managed to find my old scabby generic damper kit I used when supercharged and put it on last night. Its all steel mounts that weight 2.3lb together with damper, so not quite as bad as I thought, but still would prefer a light aluminum bracket that goes over the shock tower. The other end is just a small L bracket basically that bolts to the head, unlike that huge plate that mounts to the front of the head ive seen, which surely adds more weight if its steel. I don't run the heat shield divider.

Running Vibra-Technics motor mounts, and their build quality is amazing. They're not as solid/hard as Innovative's 75A, but definitely stiffer than stock. Very minimal vibrations, but shifts seem to feel better than the OEM mounts that I had.
One of my stock motor mounts was completely blown when I replaced them. Shifting was definitely more precise after the upgrade.
I hear you on that. This is my AP2 at ~73k miles, my AP1 looked just the same at ~68k miles.
Both were replaced with Megan Racing motor and transmission mounts. Nothing but good things to say about them after many years of street and autocross. They are buzzy at the beginning but will mellow after ~200 miles.
