The standard line in the the R&C is that you beat the driver, not the car.

Have you ever seen that Seinfeld where Kramer beats up on the elementary school kids in karate class?

The other reason I like this subforum (Racing and Competition) is that it's a whole different mindset when you compete driver to driver in an evenly matched class in an actual race or competition.

From their standpoint, they were probably a couple friends shaking down their brand new cars and wondering why some lunatic was unsafely dive bombing them on the inside.

I'm with ckit. I thought this was going to be a thoughtful comparison between two great cars.

Is your car S/C'd? You were pulling on them in the straights! Looks like a great track for s2ks.

Point taken, this was at a öhlins trackday so everbody there was pretty competitive.

I'd drive a $100k+ Porsche a little more conservatively than my S so I usually cut the drivers some slack.
