This is my PB from Gingerman on street tires earlier this year. Nothing too crazy fast compared to many of the other S2000 guys here, but at least I can hang with some of them. Hoping to improve for Time Attack in a couple weeks! Also going to have to keep that top up.

Here's my 1st attempt in using the Harry's LapTimer app to record with the iPhone5 last week at Road America during ITR Expo. Video is decent, and the overlay is super cool. I need a better mount so that it doesn't vibrate/rotate the phone over all those bumps/rumble strips & under heavy braking.

This is when I still had the CR at Mid-Ohio in 2012. Just a few laps with a view using Bama Dave's Tow Hook Mount. For some reason, the sound came out fantastic in this one. I will randomly watch it during the winter just to listen to the fantastic noise these cars make when I'm longing for some track time.

First time at the Glen, wow will I be back for sure! Please skip past first warmup lap. Done with car till I out a full cage in it and done with HPDE for the most part will focus on TT and open track days, all the traffic is BS.

You've got a lot of distortion/wind noise with your video. Are you using a GoPro or something else?

 

It's an AIM Smartycam GP with external MIC. I mounted the mic where the lightbulb goes for the license plate, so it is outside the car. I'm running the stock exhaust so did this in an effort to better hear the exhaust. I personally love the way the video sounds like this, feel the exhaust overpowers the wind noise.
