I had one fall apart, but the guys at CG lock sent me a replacement free of charge.

I'd get the Modifry, so I don't have to move my seat when locked in place. I'm very particular with seating position & never change the setting.

I def dont slide in my CR seats, but when cornering hard I do wish I had a racing bucket and harness to hold me in place as I find I do fight g-forces and try to keep my body fully upright in the seat.

I don't really slide in mine because of the material, but I do wedge my knees against the door and center tunnel to keep me in place.

They are great about customer service.

I agree, Modify's solution is a better option. I have had both the CG Lock and Modifry's and Modifry's works better and keeps your upper body in the seat as well.

It works well for autocrossing. Also, I was using this when I hit the wall (deploying the airbags) at the Nashville Tour and came out with no problems whatsoever! Umm... besides my car needing some body work. haha

Me too. Submarining is a term reserved for 4-pt harnesses that won't prevent you from sliding down and under the lap belt during a crash.

Yes, I do this just for proper arm angle and knee angle.

For what you are doing, there is no need to do CG lock...the OEM inertial reel will work just fine. What you want to do is scoot the seat further back that you want to sit...several clicks back. Then pull the belt all the way out until the inertial reel engages, then get the belt nice and snug. Once the belt is tight scoot the seat back up to your normal position. Now both the lap AND shoulder harness will be tight.

That only works on the passenger seat. I had to buy a Modifry seat belt lock to engage the same functionality in the drivers seat. The function is provided by the manufacturer for locking in child seats. I use it often in my daily to keep the rugrats tucked in tight.

I've done this before too, but it I move just a little bit and it loosens, then it unlocks completely.....
