eBay single catless headerback I got off Craigslist. Stupidly loud, but it's a track car!

unfortunately, it wouldn't make sense to post this thread elsewhere. i got 107 with my exhaust at laguna seca yesterday and they were not happy

trying to find an alternative besides lifting or using a stock exhaust

Maybe a Vibrant Performance resonator?

HKS 3". Not too loud at all. Sounds good. Ive been toying with the idea of having a 3" axel back made to fit this with no muffler to see how it sounds and maybe save a few LBS.

Ive had a 70mm Titanium, Stock cut at the diff, and custom 3" from the header back with just a small muffler(this hit 115DB)

one of the other s2ki members has the 3" hks with a 90 degree elbow and passes sound so that's a possibility.

Still have the stock exhaust. I like how it sounds paired with my Berk header and HFC, and I don't have to worry about it being too loud for autocross. While I wouldn't be opposed to an aftermarket unit to save some weight, I haven't found a dual with the right look and sound.

OEM with Berk HFC or Testpipe. With the minimal sound insulation the car has, I find the car is loud enough as is at WOT.

I would like to shave off the 30-40lbs. in weight savings a single would provide, but it isn't worth the noise hassle from cops or the $1000+ for a decent quality exhaust. At this point, the money is still better spent else where. I also don't have to worry about any track dB limits.

It will likely be the final modification to my car if at all.
