The A6 is the preferred time trial tire. Seems like most S2000 track records were set on them.
Road courses?
Yes, including the 2.0 mile high speed Summit Point Main. You do a warm out-lap then alternate hot laps and cool laps, something you really couldn't do in a w2w race.

The shaved RA1 is very similar to the NT01. Don't bother trying the RA1 without shaving them, the first time I used RA1s I didn't shave them and I thought something was wrong with my suspension they squirmed so much. The R888 suffers from the same problem on the S2000 (it works great on Miatas though).

I'm considering giving the BFG R1 a try but I really like the traction/longevity balance of the NT01.

If I can get back to the 1:23 area on NT01s on Summit Point I might try a set of A6s for a record attempt. The track was repaved since Skip and I ran 1:21.7s but I've had car problems since then too. I'm hoping the handling issues are solved and the track will cooperate.

Rob, how many days you get out of nt01?
What about full slicks, worth putting on?

I'll have to check my logbook but I've been impressed with their longevity.

I've never tried racing slicks so I can't comment.
